About Harold Chamberlain, Costa Rica
Attorney Harold Chamberlain is a partner in Bufete Chamberlain S.A., a family-owned law firm in Escazu, Costa Rica, founded by his father in 1973. Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience as an attorney, he concentrates his practice on commercial and civil disputes, immigration matters, real estate law, and land development issues. Fluent in English and Spanish, attorney Harold Chamberlain’s clientele comes primarily from the United States and Canada, although he has previously represented such clients as Rosencore Properties Ltda., Cynthia Voetsch, Jose Antonio Sauma, and Croc’s Casino Resort in Jaco, Costa Rica.
In his free time, Mr. Chamberlain enjoys gardening and practices bonsai, the Japanese art of shaping miniature trees grown in containers. He also harbors an enthusiasm for jazz and favors listening to vinyl editions of recordings from past eras. Each month, he also assists ACOPPEG, a local organization that provides guide dogs for people with visual impairments and supports measures that protect the rights of guide dog owners.
